Corinne has worked as an actor/musician for over twenty years in theatre and tv across the UK - from Chekov to Taggart and Shakespeare to London’s Burning with companies including RSC, Traverse, 7:84, BBC and STV. 


Over the past few years she has also worked with the council’s Youth Music Initiative introducing Scots Songs, Magic of Music and ukulele to primary schools in and around Edinburgh, as well as delivering various after school music and singing sessions at Sounds Like Friday, Sounds Like Saturday and Discover workshops during the holidays.  This is where she met Alyssa and from there they developed a children’s show to bring the magic of music, storytelling theatre, song and movement to young people of primary school age.

For the past five years, Alyssa has toured children’s theatre in every city throughout the UK from Theatres to Primary Schools, Community centres and Hospitals. After studying performing arts and taking a course at the New York Film Academy -Abu Dhabi, she toured Britain and Germany with various professional Theatre companies, performing classic children’s pantomimes such as Peter Pan and even playing the Genie in Aladdin.
She was also a member of the Starlight Storytellers in 2015 as ‘Granny’. Since returning to Edinburgh Alyssa has been working around primary schools providing the Scots Songs and Magic of Music projects with Youth Music Initiative and is a founding member of Autism Youth Theatre in association with the Team United Autism League.

Stephen Lacey

He recently took early retirement after 38 years as a university academic teaching drama, film and television in universities across the UK, including Scotland. Much of that time was spent teaching and researching British television drama and contemporary theatre, including community and participatory theatre, often working with students outside the university classroom. He has also participated in research projects that engaged with the wider community and public bodies, including the BBC Trust Cymru/Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government. In an earlier life, he was active in community theatre in Scotland, working with the Craigmillar Festival Society and Theatre Workshop, Edinburgh

Catherine Lacey - Company Member

Studied Drama at Queen Margaret College ( now University ) she went on to a career in Dramatherapy,  youth and community theatre and arts development. In 2007 she completed a MA in Arts in the Community with a focus on storytelling and youth theatre. Since coming back to live in Scotland in 2013 she has been involved in working in community engagement in her local community and created and performed with Prism Arts  Studio Theatre. Over many years she has been involved in a number of creative collaborations with  Corinne Harris with Lucida Theatre Lab, and now with Ceildh Crew n’ co.
